Helvetiq to acquire Bergli Books from Schwabe Verlagsgruppe

Effective 1 July 2021, Bergli Books will join Helvetiq, the Basel/Lausanne publisher of books and games, to form a three-language publishing group. Bergli will continue to publish under its own imprint, and publisher Richard Harvell and marketing employee Kali Resler will move to Helvetiq’s office in Basel in their existing roles.

Can Swiss Currency be Counterfeited?

Swiss notes are equipped with a vast array of security features, from holograms to embossings to perforations—yes, tiny holes in the paper, in the shape of a number or a cross. Some features are visible only in ultraviolet or infrared light. The newest bills are designed to transfer traces of color onto white paper when rubbed.
